High strength American standard shackles are also known as American shackles. There are two specifications of American standard bow shackle and American standard D-shaped shackle. According to different shapes, there are four types of American standard shackles: 209, 210, 2130, and 2150.
The material of the bending part of the high strength American standard shackle is made of high-quality 45# carbon structure steel by friction press, and the shaft pin part is made of 40cr alloy steel by heat treatment and other processes.
Generally, the surface treatment can be electron-galvanized and hot-dip galvanized according to user needs. The high-strength shackle has the characteristics of light weight, high safety factor, high tensile strength and easy maintenance. It is one of the indispensable workpieces in hoisting operations.
American standard shackles are widely used in machinery, metallurgy, electric power, railways, water conservancy, ports, mining, construction, docks, papermaking, chemical industries and other industries.
High strength American standard shackle working environment requires between minus 40℃ and 120 ℃, which is not suitable for long term use in a strong alkali and strong salt environment.
High strength American standard shackle is required to be scrapped after the following situations:
1. Cracks appear;
2. The degree of wear exceeds 10% of the shackle body;
3. Deformation of the shackle;
4. Shackles that fail to meet the standard in the tensile test during regular security inspections.
