Electric hoists will use different motors according to their performance and positioning. Electric hoists are small hoisting machinery, and ZD AC asynchronous motors are usually used. This kind of motor consists of a conical stater, a conical rotor, a brake spring, and a brake ring mounted on the fan and the end cover. When the motor is energized, it produces electromagnetic torque and axial force that make the rotor rotate. The spring is compressed and the tapered brake ring is separated from the rear cover, and the motor runs normally. After power off. The axial magnetic pulling force disappears and the rotor axially resets under the pressure of the brake spring, generating a frictional braking torque, which stops the rotor.

The product of this serial is commonly used in lifting, transportation and mechanical manufacturing industries. Some mechanical equipment usually require special quick brake, frequent start, and forward-backward operation.
It is suggested not to be used in the circumstances of flammability, metal melting and acid and alkaline vapor.
